Your ResidencyYou made your home in my mindYour Residency by RemnantDoomBlossom
but you also vacation to my heart
my feelings for you cannot be defined
shamelessly, I do not want a restart.
You consume my thoughts gently
as you sit quietly in the warm sand
my heart now works differently
as you calmly take my eager hand.
You spend most time perfectly still
enjoying my heart's new and dazed song
in my heart, you feelings did instill
as you whisper for me to remain strong.
You said in time things will change
that you will still reside with me
you tell me not to feel so strange
you let our toes get touched by the sea.
You smile oh so softly with eyes alight
held my hands tight and tenderly you say
"If you ever miss me, you can just write."
Though you are scared, you say you'll stay.
And I ever so gently kiss your cheek
but try to push you from my mind
yet, with you the world is less bleak
so I decide to remain waiting and behind.
Saying to you, "Forever you have residency."

But no, that hadn’t happened, and lunch had to be put off for two extra hours due to an “unscheduled” company meeting. When at last you did eat, it was far from enough to match your ravenous hunger, and you still had hours le
